Purrcasso is a really great art auction/sale that is put on every year to benefit the Berkeley East-Bay Humane Society, and this year it is happening on Nov. 7th and 8th (this weekend!) in a brand new location on 4th St. in Berkeley. You can find more information on the
Purrcasso site, as well as see a fantastic sampling of the artwork that has been donated this year.
As promised, here are a couple photos of my piece (that
Billiam was kind enough to take pictures of because I completely forgot to do so myself.):

And just for kicks, here is the sketch that I worked off of to build the piece:

If you are in the area, stop by the auction on Saturday night! Say hello and bid on some artwork for a great cause!

Everything you do is full of amazing. I love looking at your stuff so much! (^.^)
Wow... some really great detail.
I am such a fan.
Your cutout style are really stunning and turn out wonderful.
Mindblowing control of paper! I remember needing lots of band-aids when my art school design classes threw me a paper-cutting assignment. My final product always had visible glue and fingerprints all over it. A nightmare! I'm amazed at your work.
Even your sketch is so clean and appealing.
Beautiful Brittney! Thanks for posting the sketch too!
Your shadow boxes and art really blow me away!
Can I ask a question? Do you have your frames custom made after you've planned out the piece, or do you do a piece to fit inside the dimensions of an already made frame?
I'm totally going to go fan girl and say it was fantastic to get a comment from you, considering how much I love your stuff :)
I absolutly love your color choices in all your frames, so efficiant !
This is so beautiful! I love the designs and color choices. You're work is absolutely amazing!
Beautifully done! If I were in the area I would have loved to go to the auction and see it up close.

Its a lovely piece - did you make it like decoupage? I mean, is it layered, or just the way you painted it? Either way its stunning! Love the details

Iv just gone thru some of your older posts and WOW, im so impressed with your patience and attention to detail. Its amazing to see how you build up your drawings with hundreds of layers of paper. Its incredible and so very inspiring!!
im a huge fan!! i really love it. Its very unique and so refreshing to see some one do something really traditionally hands on, rather than all this CG nuss that that has dominated so many artists today.
Keep it up!!! :)
