While I was supposed to be doing other work yesterday, I decided to sketch this tree. Turns out, the topic for Illustration Friday this week is "roots", so I guess I'll put it to good use after all!
That was lucky! I like it very much...that tree's hanging on, no matter what. You have a nice technique...I especially like the fullness of the leaves and the veinlike roots going down the side of the cliff.

i like it a lot. it's like the tree is tentatively dipping its toe over the edge.
